  1. A really interesting crash course on astronomy by Phil Plait ( Bad Astronomer) . Recommend it to everyone who looks up at stars in wonder.

2. Highly recommended playlist on film criticism on a select list of films. Many are classic movies that remain important even in the 21st century.

3. If you are interested in understanding film production from start to finish and various departments involved in the process, do check out

Truly a film is a product of many people even though usually the director and actors are the ones you think of when seeing a movie.

4. I read “Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind” by Yuval Noah Harari. The ideas are quite brilliant mainly ones about fictional belief system that allowed homo sapiens to work in large numbers and dominate the ecosystem and other homo sapiens. I did find that many of his ideas like agriculture actually brought down mankind fascinating but lacking in scientific evidence. Many of his chapters are more of a gut feeling rather than a scientific study with measurable evidence.

5. And my greatest viewing and amazement- Blue Planet and Blue Planet II narrated by one of the greatest voices David Attenborough. The amount of work that went in these two series that showcased the largely untapped life is mind boggling . The two shows are definitely milestones in human perseverance of knowledge.
